Born into a musical family in TX, raised in OK, JIM PAUL BLAIR is the son of
former Texas Playboys member Ramona Reed and was exposed to the music business at an early age.  A versatile multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Blair has always been in demand as a member of outstanding bands, the Red Valley Barnstormers, Garth Brooks Band, Hickory Wind, then in Nashville with the Neverly Brothers and the Neverly Hillbillies. He has toured Europe with country band City Moon, which is now focusing on their Hank Williams tribute, “Hankerin’ 4 Hank”.  Jim also performs periodically with bluegrass bands The Bonham Revue and The Bluegrass Bullies, with rock bands The Neverly Brothers and The Grease Monkeys and in the unique acoustic funk duet with Harley Hamm called the “Harley Hamm Jimmy Jamm”.  Most recently, Jim portrayed Buddy Holly in Muskogee Little Theatre’s production of “The Buddy Holly Story”.

“Hankerin’ 4 Hank” continues to draw standing room only crowds in theaters, fairs, and festivals throughout the United States.  In 2013, “The Buddy Holly Story” again sold out nine shows during production.
Blair’s music is available on iTunes. “Fresh Off The Strings" and “Down Our Road” are two popular releases.  He has recorded with City Moon, the Neverly Hillbillies and The Bonham Revue and has made guest appearances on recent recordings of Don Morris, Randy Pease, Greg Jacobs, Eddie Glen, and Jana Jae.
Jim lives in Muskogee with his wife, Tracy, and is Executive Director of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and is on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival, directs weekly live music shows at OMHOF’s Frisco Depot in Muskogee, and is an integral part of countless performances.  He is an excellent headliner in great demand!!
